Learn the art of crafting mouthwatering tacos that fuse classic flavors with innovative twists. Uncover secret recipes and master the techniques that turn every bite into a fiesta! Get ready to spice up your taco repertoire, including afascinating Indian twist to a taco meal. Make a whole wheat deep-fried bread called Puri and Garlic Naan to use as the taco shell. Fillings are comprised of Tandoori Aloo, Paneer and Shrimp (potatoes with shrimp and Indian cheese) and Chicken Malai Tikka (sour cream marinated chicken). Condiments to stuff your tacos consist of a mustard slaw, mint chutney, spice peanut pico, brown rice, shredded Indian cheese (paneer) and mozzarella cheese. Dessert is a semolina halva cake with ice cream. Students may purchase a pre-measured organic spice kit for an additional materials fee. Class is hands-on.
