This guided Hike will be conducted from mid-June through mid-August, highlighting plant life of Genesee Park from trees to wildflowers, to fungi and beyond. We will be discussing our forests from the top down, including information on invasive species, native species, what invasive/native means, and plant identification, plant/forest management and even historical significance and uses of some of the plants we will encounter along the way. Day of hikes will be easy/moderate. Please come prepared with appropriate hiking attire.Map
