Description
The Field Equipment Certification class will equip Community Producers with the necessary skills to safely and effectively operate DCM's Sony FX30 Digital Cinema Cameras, lenses, tripods, and Dracast lighting equipment. Member producers will learn how to reserve and schedule field equipment, and spend time getting familiar with the gear. The class will cover the camera menu and functionality, and best practices in lighting and shot composition, and shot lists. DCM staff will also review and recommend SD recording cards, external hard drives, and media for purchase. This class is a required prerequisite to access DCM’s field equipment for check-out and for the Sony FX30 Digital Cinema Cameras.
