The Field Equipment Certification class will equip Community Producers with the necessary skills to safely and effectively operate DCM's field production equipment. Producers will learn how to reserve and schedule field equipment, and spend time getting familiar with the equipment. DCM staff will also review and recommend recording cards and media for purchase by the Community Producer. DCM’s field equipment options include 4k video camcorders, DSLR mirrorless cameras, tripods, an assortment of light kits, and wireless microphones. This class is a required prerequisite to access DCM’s field equipment for check-out.
