(Virtual) ZOOM-Go4Life Srs Functional Fitness -"Fitness Where You Are"
Ongoing class: This virtual, ZOOM-platformed, fun, yet motivational functional fitness class will help seniors and those with low mobility to improve their Strength - Balance - Flexibility & Endurance.
We will focus on key exercises targeting: cardio-vascular health, increasing bone density, lessening arthritis pain, improving balance. agility and flexibility, increasing metabolism, lifting depression, decreasing risk of diabetes and improving HDL/LDL. Low impact aerobics and weight training included. Fun oldies, Motown, classical to salsa, soft rock, 70's disco, Tango, inspirational, show tunes and TV show themed-music is used.
*Note: For safety reasons, Your VIDEO MUST BE ON FOR THE ENTIRETY OF THE CLASS if you wish to sign up for this class. Not complying with this policy will result to removal from the class in the Zoom "Waiting Room"
Fitness equipment typically used in this class, at different session:
You will need to have nearby:
- Hand weights ( 2lb, 3lb, 5lb, 8lb or higher - whatever is the best fit for you).
- Resistance Band (light or medium)
- Kettlebell (5lbs, 8lbs, 10lbs, 15 lbs or higher)
- Small 5" lightweight ball
- 2 - 3ft wooden dowel, stick or cane
- Kitchen spatula (spatula), large kitchen plastic spoon
- Squish ball or two pairs of socked rolled and tucked together.

Class runs on Zoom 9:30am – 10:30am (PST). *This is a recurring meeting (starts weekly on Tuesdays - Donation-based only.
Instructor: Leslie K. DuBridge, NBC-HWC, PCC, CTC, CWHC Certified; Active adults group fitness trainer and national board certified health and wellness coach (NBHWC).
