Description
Independence Day may be over, but Mother Nature is bringing her own bright explosions to a preserve near you — fireflies! Become immersed in nature at night and experience the bright magic of these beautiful beetles. Discover the science behind these staples of summer and craft a glowing creation of your own. Once the stage is set, take a short hike and seek out this incredible insect for a closer look. End the night by the light of a campfire and roast a tasty marshmallow.
The program will include a 0.5-mile hike on uneven terrain.
