Description
For ages 18 and up. Learn the basics of hand drumming or take your percussion to a new level in this 2-hour drumming and rhythm intensive. Designed to get all levels playing together. Michelle will be breaking down all the parts to a polyrhythm on the djembe, dunduns, bell and shakers. She'll be teaching the layers one by one ultimately building a polyrhythm to be played together by the group. We'll then use this rhythm as a base for exploration and improvisation. Instruments provided or bring your own. Come experience the joy of community music making and some fun summer outdoor drumming!
