Description
This beginner class introduces you to the joy of oil painting. Focus on color theory and learn a variety of oil painting techniques. During the first class, review essential art supplies needed, including how to use and set them up. Together, the class paints a simple still life or a landscape, assisted with demonstrations of the different stages of layering an oil painting. Artwork can be a continuation of a recent school assignment. Knowledge of drawing and painting is recommended, but experience with oils is not necessary. Materials list sent via email.
