Description
Music connects us with emotions and memories. Music, and popular songs developed over time, and provides a window into particular eras, identities, and cultural settings. The building blocks of music—melody, rhythm, harmony, and lyrics—are the same, no matter what the genre. The skills for understanding and creating music are learned through practice; even if one has never studied music, remember melodies, lyrics, rhythms, dance steps, can provide an access point to skills that one might not be aware of.
