About this event

Description

This activity has been cancelled.

Congress established the National Archives in 1934 to preserve and care for the records of the U.S. government. Previously, federal records were kept in various basements, attics, abandoned buildings, and other storage places. The National Archives Museum houses some of this nation’s priceless documents, including the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights, and Record of Rights featuring the 1297 Magna Carta. Enjoy a wonderful gift shop and the onsite Charter Café to enjoy lunch on your own. Info: Tracy Adkins, 410-313-7279 or tadkins@howardcountymd.gov.
