This session will cover the wide range of services and evidence-based practices offered by HCPSS for young children who qualify for an Individual Family Service Plan or Individual Education Program from Birth to Kindergarten. This includes specific strategies and methodologies which may be used for children with suspected/known autism. There will also be opportunities to discuss the similarities and differences between the public-school offerings and private educational centers and clinics. The final hour will include a panel discussion with HCPSS Special Educators. The panel of several special educators from will address a variety of common classroom-based challenges by providing strategies and "think abouts.” Questions from registrants will be invited in advance and during the panel.4 SN
