Visit the tallest dunes in North America. They are the centerpiece in a diverse landscape of grasslands, wetlands, forests, alpine lakes, and tundra. Experience sand sledding, Medano Creek beach play, hiking, climbing and more.
This activity is funded in part through a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado and Generation Wild.
Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Registration fee includes supervision, transportation, shared use of sand boards and admission fee.
Dress for the weather. Trip leaves from the City of Colorado Springs, Park and Rec. Main Office parking lot at 1401 Recreation Way (off I25 and Uintah). Parents must sign participant forms and waivers. Trips are non-refundable or transferrable after June 1
