About this event
Jacob Musgrave is an apple farmer. His father and grandfather were apple farmers before him. He has a bright future ahead of him, a new wife and a thriving business. But when General John Gibbon of the Army of the Potomac's Iron Brigade comes to Detroit in dire need of munitions and men, Jacob finds himself a private in the newly formed 24th Michigan Infantry Regiment, on his way to Fredericksburg to take on the Confederate Army! Attention: This production of The Iron Brigade features the use of a non-firing prop rifle. Additionally, it includes vivid and authentic descriptions of soldiers’ experiences during historical battles. Viewer discretion is advised.
