We will visit this valley of Fire and Ice and explore some of its geology, botany, wildlife, and exceptional scenery. We do short stops along the way and a hike to the South rim of Helmcken Falls, which isn’t too demanding, and gives a unique perspective on an iconic landmark. The day will begin at 08:00 and will return to Kamloops by 18:00 and we will carpool. Bring a lunch and please be prepared to help with gas costs. Classroom attendance on Wednesday May 22nd is a prerequisite for an introduction to this field trip.
