***ALL SWIMMERS MUST PAY $35 INSURANCE FEE BEFORE ENTERING THE POOL***
Fee is only required once for the 2024 season May 1st 2024 – April 30th 2025
***Rays Groups no refunds after May 14th***
**Group Registration Requirements**
Pups (Formally Jr. Pups)
- Must be potty trained
- Able to participate in a 30min class (away from parents)
- Must be comfortable getting face wet
- Must be comfortable swimming with assistance in deep water (unable to touch bottom)
Rays (Formally Pups)
- Must be able to swim 25 meters unassisted
- Must be able to participate in a 60min class
- Developing front dives off blocks or side of pool
- Developing flip turns and side turns
- Developing the 4 strokes of speed swimming (Freestyle, Breaststroke, Backstroke and Fly)
- Swim meets are encouraged
- Volunteer and Fundraising is required (Information will be emailed out before the season starts)
- Deposit cheques required before entering the pool (Information will be emailed out before the season starts)
Intermediate Rays
- Must have a strong understanding of all 4 speed swim strokes
- Able to swim 100IM or 200IM
- Should be comfortable using starting blocks
- Developing the ability to legally swim all 4 strokes using proper techniques
- Should understand preform flip turns and developing technique associated with turns
- Must practice 3 days a week minimum
- Swim meets are highly recommended
- Volunteer and Fundraising is required (Information will be emailed out before the season starts)
- Deposit cheques required before entering the pool (Information will be emailed out before the season starts)
Advanced Rays
- Swimmers should have a legal time in either 100IM or 100IM at BCSSA Swim meet or equivalent
- Must be able to participate in a 90min class
- Ability to preform all 4 strokes/turns legally and consistently at practice/meets
- Swimmer should attend a minimum of 4 practices a week
- Volunteer and Fundraising is required (Information will be emailed out before the season starts)
- Deposit cheques required before entering the pool (Information will be emailed out before the season starts)

- Fraser Valley Stroke and Turn Clinic hosted by Chilliwack May 11th (discounted price to attend)
- Chilliwack Stingrays Swim Meet July 6th & 7th
- Fraser Valley Spirit Night Aldergrove Pool (discounted price to attend) July 10th
- BCSSA Regionals August 1st 2nd and 3rd

Every Wednesday (except July 10th)
- Pups Race Day 4:30pm-5:30pm starting May 20th
- Team Meeting 5:30pm
- Potluck 6:00pm

- May 20th Victoria Day
