Day Camp at Woodend—one day of traveling and one campout night at Woodend Ever wanted to go camping but felt like you didn’t have the skills or knowledge? Learn how to build a fire, pitch a tent, and cook over a campfire. We’ll also explore some fun local hiking spots. Then on Thursday night we will put our skills to the test with a campout at Woodend. Traveling day camp based at Woodend In this animal-filled camp we will learn why people “keep” animals and how our special relationships have evolved through the years. Each day we will meet different animals and learn how to handle them, take care of them, and what makes them so special to the people who love them! We will travel to animal shelters, farms, and the Zoo Tuesday-Friday.
