Description
It's an art cruise of sorts! First to the Minneapolis Institute of Art for a 1-hour private guided tour of Mediterranean inspired art, then to Christos for a classic Greek lunch, followed by a 45-minute guided tour of the Museum of Russian Art. You will have time to explore a little on your own as well. Lunch includes a traditional Greek salad, soda/coffee, dessert, and one lunch entree of choice. Alternative beverages can be purchased on your own at Christos. $87, all inclusive. Registration Deadline: Monday, April 29.
Lunch Choices:1. Traditional Gyros. Served with oven potatoes & tzatziki sauce
2. Salmos Exohikos. Salmon filet with dill aioli sauce baked in phyllo triangles; served with sauteed asparagus spears.3. Kota Sto Phyllo. Boneless chicken breast rolled in spinach, leek, feta and kasseri cheeses, then baked in a phyllo pastry wrap. Served with buttered carrots.
4. Spanakopita. Classic Greek dish of spinach-feta-dill baked in phyllo pastry. Served with sauteed broccoli.
5. Beef Ke Bab. Tenderloin beef skewered with veggies, marinated, broiled and served over a bed of country pilaf.
