Description
We start our day with an extensive guided tour of the original 1860s Oliver Kelley Farmstead in Elk River. It is a working farm with gardens and animals to enjoy! You'll have time to peruse the gift shop too. Then, we're off to lunch at Sunset Grill- a cozy lake place restaurant serving a choice of classic country meals. Our final stop is at the Original Blue Sun Soda Shoppe where we tour the vintage, working 1952 Crown, Cork & Dixie Model F bottling line, finishing up with a cool individualized, soda fountain tasting. You will also have time to shop in their iconic candy and soda store before we head home. Wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather. The Farm has up to 1/4 mile paved and unpaved walking paths to follow during the tour. Accessible options and golf cart assistance will also be provided as needed.
