Description
On this BioDiversity Trip we will head to the mountains for a camping and hiking adventure. We will be staying at Carolina Hemlocks Recreation Area and exploring the area, including a trip to Mt. Mitchell. Here we will find astonishing biodiversity in the highest point east of the Mississippi. This will be a two night camping trip and we will hike between 4 - 6 miles per day, stopping along the way to discover what makes this land so special. Transportation, camping equipment/fees, all meals and guides are included. Adult participation required if under 18.Participants must be able to travel 4 - 6 miles on uneven terrain. Bring a bag lunch for the first day and plenty of water.
