This year is the next emergence of the 17 year periodical cicada! Join us at Fox Bluff for a self-directed afternoon full of education, hikes and fun as we learn about the amazing life cycle and ecology of these incredible creatures. Several stations will be set up with educational information and activities that you may move through at your own pace- don't forget to take a hike too! Fox Buff features 2.5 miles of looped trails and a paved path down to the Fox River so you can hike as much- or as little- as you'd like. Prefer a trail guide? 1 mile long guided hikes will also be offered during the event.
This is a free drop-in event and all ages are welcome. Registration is not required. Children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
