Dates: Jul 16 Instructor: Emma Redmond In Suminagashi classes students will learn the basics of suminagashi, a Japanese marbling technique. The history and ideology shaping suminagashi will be covered, as well as basic fundamental tools and materials. Student's will learn how to create and pull suminagashi monoprints on paper and fabric, and leave with enough knowledge and skills to continue exploring on their own. -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision.
