Dates: Apr 10, 17, 24, May 1 Instructor: Reb Ayşe Geduk Zero waste sewing: Looking for ways to make your sewing practice more sustainable? In this class we will explore different ways to design a garment using every inch of your fabric. Students will leave class with a sample garment based off of the historic Bog Coat design and the knowledge to create their own zero (or minimal) waste designs! -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. 4 Week students have access to Open Studio time for free during the class and for up to a week after the class to put their new knowledge to practice.
