1 Day Workshop Saturday, May 18 | 5pm - 9pm Sunday, May 19 | 5pm - 9pm This workshop will focus on the foundations of designing and creating functional ceramic teapots. We will discuss the formal and functional considerations that go into creating teapots, from lids to spouts and beyond. Technical demonstrations will focus on wheel throwing techniques, but hand building is also welcome! You will have the chance to decorate your work with underglaze, and can choose one glaze for each of their pieces. All artworks will be available for pick up 4-6 weeks after class. You will be contacted when your pieces are ready to be picked up. Students should be comfortable throwing a basic pot on the wheel. Registration closes April 12
