Description
Formerly known as Snow Explorers! Ages 6-11 years old.
The weather outside is delightful, so let's go out and enjoy it together! Adventure Seekers will hike, build snow forts, learn leave no trace principals, learn how to read a map, have beacon hunts, create snow art, and so much more! The sky's the limit when experiencing and learning more about the outdoors!
New this year: we are partnering with the Friends of the Dillion Ranger District and Breck Ski Patrol to expand our knowledge of all things Summit County outdoors!
All participants must wear proper winter activity clothing including a winter jacket, snow pants, waterproof gloves, snow boots, goggles, and a hat. Adventure Seekers are expected to be outside for the entire afterschool program.
Transportation is provided from Upper Blue and Breckenridge Elementary. Students not attending Breckenridge schools are encouraged to participate but need to provide their own transportation.
