Montana Outdoor Science School 2104 Industrial Drive Unit B Bozeman, MT 59715 Organized by Montana Outdoor Science School

About this event
Tropical reefs, volcanoes, and glaciers. Quiet lakes and lava flows. Rocks formed 10 miles down now atop the Absarokas. Change is the theme of this geology field trip to the Paradise Valley. We will find evidence for the geologic history and how that history shapes the landscape we enjoy today. We will spend the day in the field exploring the geology of the area and how the landscape has drastically changed and changed again over millions of years (and is still changing!).
