Ideas and artwork will be provided but feel free to bring a denim jacket or piece of cotton clothing to work on, along with your own ideas from photos or magazines, etc...of what you would like to paint. Once you learn, the possibilities are endless! In this class you will draw, paint and decorate artwork on fabric. You can create fabric art pieces to sew into a quilt, table runner, or on to clothing or any other fabric items of your choice. The techniques allow you to be as creative as you would like and allow you endless possibilities for projects to start and “take-along”. You can have a portable project that to take and work on anywhere! A learning kit will be provided by the instructor, Mary Lee. You will be using fabrics, needles, embroidery thread, paint, beads and other fun items for embellishment. After taking this class…you’ll see everything around you with a new perspective. Everywhere you look there’s a possible new project to begin. Supplies for this class will be provided in the class kit. Minimum students required: 6
