Do you love movies? Have you ever wanted to make a movie of your own but don’t know where to begin? If you answered yes to either of these questions, then this is the camp for you! Come join us as a film-maker of stop-motion movies! Stop motion movies are created by taking a series of photos where slight changes are made each time to create movement. When all of these pictures come together a movie is made! Filmmakers will create anything they can dream of; from the adventures of Mrs. Lego brick, the 100 ways to befriend a dragon, how to survive a zombie apocalypse, or a day in the life of Mr. Stick. Filmmakers will use stop-motion film techniques to make their own movies on provided iPads. In addition filmmakers will get to study movies and clips in order to see how professionals utilize stop-motion to create award winning films such as Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Boxtrolls, The Little Prince, Chicken Run, The Nightmare Before Christmas and more! So what say you film-maker? Are you ready to let your imagination fly?
