Hawaiian Dance (Hula) Workshop for Older AdultsThe dance tradition of the Hawaiian islands is a form of storytelling. Learn basics of the two main styles: hula kahiko (ancient style), and hula ‘auana (contemporary). A lovely, easy hula ‘auana will be taught. No experience necessary.Instructor: Shireen Malik is an instructor, performer, choreographer, and producer. She holds a B.A. from UC Berkely. While living on the island of Hawaii, Shireen studied with hula master Katherine Keko’olani Dambley.
