Description
This AP Music Theory Exam Preparation course will teach the skills needed to pass this difficult test which will happen again in May of 2024. We will use the Barron’s test manual by Nancy Scoggin and will cover all 22 chapters of listed topics as well as the accompanying aural examples designed to improve the student’s musicianship abilities. Skills like melodic & harmonic dictation, sight singing and melody harmonization will also be mastered. We will take the practice tests and develop strategies for efficiently working through the exam questions.
