Jewelry & Metalsmithing: Casting & Moldmaking
Instructor: Robin Servo

Students are introduced to the lost wax casting process including instruction of all steps necessary to complete a final, (jewelry scale) casting. Both centrifugal and vacuum casting processes as well as various wax working and mold making techniques will be demonstrated in this class. Most materials are provided for this class except silver products which are not included in the material/studio fees.
Prerequisite: The completion of a beginning jewelry/metals class including torch soldering
Wednesdays, April 3 - June 129:00 am - 12:00 pm, 11 sessions$347 Members, $387 Guests, $70 Materials/Studio Fee

Metals/Jewelry Department Students
All Jewelry/Metals students pay a fee to cover supplies, and the use of tools/studio equipment during the class periods.
Wearing a mask in the BBAC studio is encouraged.
Materials list of items to bring:-Please bring a small notebook and pencil to class -Wear close-toed shoes and long pants-Bring your own safety goggles, or you can share the studio goggles
