The annual Great Wall of China Marathon (GWCM) takes place on May 1st and offers full race, half race, 10km, and 5km distances, attracting participants from around the globe.
In addition to the traditional race on May 1st, in 2024 we will also host the Great Wall of China Marathon 2024-Autumn in Beijing on Sunday, October 27, 2024.

Event details and schedule
We invite you to register for the thrilling 23rd Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st, 2024.
Prior to the race, all participants will need to collect their race bags at the 4-star official MERCURE BEIJING ZHONGGUANCUN Hotel. If you wish to stay at this convenient hotel, you can choose Option 3 as an additional purchase.
Our limousine buses will depart from the official hotel at 5:30AM, taking all the runners to the Great Wall. The race will commence at 8:00AM.
Upon completion of the marathon, each runner will receive a beautifully crafted medal featuring a Dragon design on the wall! Additionally, the top three male and female winners from each distance category will be presented with trophies.
