Description
This swim team program, for ages 13 to 18 years, is for more experienced and dedicated swimmers who have mastered most of the fundamentals of technique. This group has an increased emphasis on aerobic, anaerobic, and strength training, while they continue to refine their strokes, starts, and turns to a high level. This group practices 5 to 6 times per week. Requirements: Swimmers should be able to swim all four competitive strokes of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. They also need the ability to do pace and interval training using a pace clock and commit to a rigorous training program.
