South River 15K and Relay

The 2nd Annual South River 15k and Relay is a beautiful course that winds along the South River Trail/Michelle Obama Trail in Dekalb County. This course, with moderate hills in the first and last mile of the course, will include a finisher medal and super soft t-shirt. Scenic river views await as you travel from Gresham Park past Sugar Creek Golf Club and Georgia State Perimieter.
Runners may choose to run the 15K as an individual, or as a 2 or 3 person relay. This out and back race will have a split point at the 5K/10K line where relay members may congregate and handoff. This allows relay members to run in the following configurations:
A. Runner #1 - 10K, Runner #2 - 5K
B. Runner #1 - 5K, Runner #2 - 5K, Runner #3 - 5K
Individual Awards Breakdown: First, Second, and Third Place Overall male/female, First, Second, and Third Place Masters male/female, and 1 deep in each age group – Men/Women <10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Relay Awards Breakdown: First Place Overall male, female, and co-ed.
Cash prizes for 1st Overall Male/Female ($100) and 1st Overall Male/Female Masters ($75). No double-dipping allowed this year.

Parking
There is ample parking available at Barack Obama Elementary School (3132 Clifton Church Rd SE, Atlanta, GA 30316) and Gresham Park (3113 Gresham Rd S E, Atlanta, GA 30316). Overflow parking is available at Gresham Park Recreation Center (3113 Gresham Rd S E, Atlanta, GA 30316).
