FUSED GLASS WINDOW OR LANTERNS/ Martha DownerTuesdays from 1 PM - 4 PM

This course is designed as a hands-on practical experience with fused glass and will cover all aspects of studio health & safety, a brief history of glass fusing, glass compatibility, cutting, designing on glass kiln basics, types of firing, and more!
At the end of the course, you will have completed either two lanterns or a window. This class will build on the basic glass cutting skills and provide an atmosphere to learn the art of fused glass. This is a fun and informative class designed to introduce students to the terminology, tools and techniques of fusing and kiln formed glass.
No previous glass handling experience is required. If you have experience, projects will be more involved and detailed.
Supplies required: a picture frame, a plant hanger*, Elmer's glue, and Loctite Super Glue.
