In this one-day workshop, students will learn the basics of analog (film) photography and how to operate a film camera. The class will consist of a hands on demonstration and discussion of the medium. Topics include: types of film and how to choose, how to load and unload film, using film camera functions, how to choose and shoot the perfect exposure, understanding your lens and depth of field, capturing motion, night photography, basic film camera care and film camera accessories. Supply list: 35mm film camera capable of manual operation (focus, aperture, shutter speed) camera manual (if available) batteries (if the camera requires them) 1 Unopened roll of film.
