DESCRIPTION The Ohio Field Hockey Summer Camp is open to athletes of all levels of experience who are entering 7th grade through 12th grade. The camp comprises a combination of technical and tactical sessions specifically designed to create a positive learning environment that is both challenging and enjoyable. All sessions will be conducted by the Ohio University coaching staff and players. Throughout camp, players will take part in 6 field hockey sessions: 2 sessions on Friday, 3 sessions on Saturday, and 1 session on Saturday. Campers have the option to stay overnight in the dormitories, OR commute daily. Our field is equipped with stadium seating, therefore relatives and friends are welcome to watch. For safety and security however, visitors are not permitted to enter the dormitories during camp. All sessions will be played at Pruitt Field, Ohio University's water-based astroturf. Cleats are not permitted on this surface. Check in on the first day of camp will begin at 1:00pm Check out on the last day of camp will be at 12:00pm A Certified Athletic Trainer will be at every session. If you have any injuries or conditions that we should know of, please email Louisa at boddy@ohio.edu in advance of camp (allergies, heart conditions, concussions etc.) *All participants will be required to complete a number of forms in order to participate. Please email the forms prior to the clinic to boddy@ohio.edu Camps and clinics are open to any any all entrants, limited only by age or grade.
