About this event
If you are completely new to ceramics, or if you want a refresher on all the possibilities of clay, this is the class for you! Over the course of 8 weeks, you will learn both handbuilding and wheel throwing techniques such as pinching, slab construction, coil building, wedging, throwing, and trimming. Come with a project in mind, or simply follow along each week as we explore all things ceramic. *There will be no class on May 26th. Supply Notes: This class includes unlimited independent studio time, 25 pounds of clay, all firing, slips and glazing supplies. New students will need to purchase a basic handbuilding kit for $25 (This kit will meet the needs for wheelthrowing as well.), available at the first class session or in the online shop.
