Learn the basics of using acrylic paint! In this class, students will receive step-by-step instruction as they complete 10”x10” canvases of a variety of animals to learn gray-scale, glazing, color mixing, faux effects, impasto and sgraffito. Students will also have the opportunity to apply what they learn to create 1 or more pet portraits from their own photo(s). This is a fun class for both beginner and intermediate painters. During the first class, your instructor will discuss what makes a good photo to work from. There is no need to bring in pet photos at the first class and this project may take place later in the term. View Supply List Students will need to purchase materials for this class.
