Description
Join the city of Agoura Hills for an day at The Museum of Contemporary Art. Explore Digital Witness: Revolutions in Design, Photography, and Film. Digital Witness: Revolutions in Design, Photography, and Film examines the impact of digital manipulation tools from the 1980s to the present. Featuring over 150 works, the exhibition traces the emergence of distinctive digital aesthetic strategies, relationships to realism, and storytelling modes. The nearly 200 artists, designers, and makers in Digital Witness illuminate today's visual culture where digital editing tools are easier to access than ever before. Bring a picnic and enjoy it on the on the LACMA grounds while listening to their free Friday Night Jazz Concerts! Then head back to the Recreation Center.
Pacific Standard Time Art is a collection of exhibitions that explore some of the most urgent problems of our time through past and present connections between art and science in a series of exhibitions, public programs, and other resources. These exhibitions will explore “topics like ancient cosmologies, Indigenous sci-fi, environmental justice, and artificial intelligence”
