About this event
Learn the basics of Hand-building and Wheel Throwing in this fun introductory Ceramics class! Step by step instruction is provided through the lessons and demonstrations. Great for Beginners and those returning to pottery after some time has passed. Please note: Accessing the studio requires use of stairs. Masks Optional Limited to 8 Students. 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Tuesdays 10 Classes, 30 hrs. ✨Please note: - 1, 25 lb. bag of high-fire stoneware clay, studio glaze, firing and use of community tools during class are provided with cost of class. NO OUTSIDE POTTERY WILL BE FIRED. ALL WORK MUST BE CREATED IN CLASS or OPEN STUDIO. -OPEN STUDIO- Students must be Current CCArts Members and Current Pottery Students WITH instructor approval before accessing open studio at CCArts. - Students should bring their own towel and apron. - Students are responsible for cleaning & sanitizing their studio equipment after each use. - Limited storage available for each student. - Students must remove all personal belongings after the end of each Session.
