Tabletop Battles: World War II - Camp Leader- Hayes Wauford '98 - July 29 - August 2 - 9 am - 2 pm - Rising 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, & 9th Graders - $310 (lunch included) - Discover World War II history by recreating battles from the Normandy Campaign following the 80th Anniversary of those great events - Learn how to create and play a historical wargame using military miniatures including modeling, painting, and terrain building - Learn to brainstorm, collaborate on and execute projects, and develop strategies to play competitively and in a sportsmanlike manner - No background knowledge or experience required, all materials will be provided - Guest speakers will include a professional military figure sculptor and military historian and author - Parents will be able to see demonstration wargames on the final day of the camp
