Collagraph: Printing the Collage AMw/Christine StoughtonA six (6) session courseMarch 13 - April 24 No class on 3/27This six-session workshop is designed for students who wish to explore the art of collagraph. Textured collages will be made, sealed, inked, and transformed into a printed image. No prior experience with collage or printing is necessary since this workshop is designed to meet the student at their level of experience.• Students will learn how to construct a textured collage which can be successfully printed.• Students will learn how to print their collages either as an intaglio print or a relief print.• Students will produce work that can form the basis for mixed media Images.• Students will learn how to enhance their initial printed collages through the addition of selected Monoprinting and Frottage techniques.
