The Waupaca Area Triathlon begins at South Park with a 200 meter swim in wonderful Shadow Lake, and a 12 mile bike around the south side of the city into the beautiful rolling hills in rural Waupaca, and finish with a 1 mile fast, flat loop of the city.
This race is USAT sanctioned.
Short Course is Capped.
Event Refund Policy:
The event could be delayed by severe weather (i.e. fog or lightening). The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department will advise the Board Chairman of weather that could delay or cancel the event for the safety of the participants, volunteers and local traffic. That decision would be announced on site over the loud speaker, on WDUX FM 92.7/800AM, the event announcer and through Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES) operators to the people on the course.
The only reason the event would be delayed or cancelled is for your safety or civil emergency. There will be no refunds for cancellation of the event. Registration gift will be mailed.
The Waupaca Area Triathlon will make every effort to have a safe event. Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.

Packet pickup is Friday, August 16, Noon until 8pm or Saturday, August 17 from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m.
Swim caps and bike helmets are required.
