*Rolling sign-in and free-choice from 3:30-4:00 pm followed by 60 minutes of formal program from 4:00-5:00 pm*Unplug with us at the farm afterschool! Join us for 6 sessions of outdoor, spring-time exploration in the fresh air on the farm! Program sessions are guided by immersice curriculum and experential learning through movement based games and activities, garden and animal explorations, farm walks, science experiments, and nature crafting. Participant will make direct connections witht he farm and farmers and developing a wider understanding of where our food comes from. Occasionally we will make simple snacks from food we harcest on the farm or harvest produce that youth have helped grow, which they will bring home to share with their families.This program takes place outdoors rain or shine, with sheltered areas for unfriendly weather. Please dress for weather. wear closed-toe shoes and provide sun protection.
