Chair yoga is a gentle practice in which postures are performed while seated and/or with the aid of a chair. It is an excellent form of yoga for beginners, those with physical disabilities or anyone who has trouble getting down and up to the floor. The poses are largely adapted from Hatha yoga and the practice will increase flexibility, increase strength and body awareness.
