Description
BROADWAY ON THE BOOKSHELFJoin us for a week of singing, dancing, and acting while we prepare songs from musicals based on classic children’s literature! Through songs from Shrek, Willie Wonka, Dear Edwina, Junie B. Jones and other shows, the students will develop the skills needed for musical theatre participation – singing, musicianship, acting and dance/movement.
The day starts at 9am with singing, music games and story drama, and continues after lunch with dance and acting class, finishing at 4pm. Families are invited to the final performance on Friday afternoon at 4pm.
Students do not need to have any previous musical instruction, just a love of singing, dancing, and hamming it up! This is an inclusive camp, and we are happy to make any accommodations needed for students to participate.
