Study the art of technical theater with the hands-on study of sound, props, costumes. Each term has a specialized focus. 11-adults Sound Design: w/Cooper Poole Learn to create sound effects, work with wireless microphones, and build speaker systems. Enter the world of Audio and explore the only non visual aspect of theater. Costume Design: TBA In this class students will learn about color theory and era fashions. They will also learn techniques for how to create moods and character arc based on the characters' costume design. Learn the basics of costume design for a play or musical based on the script needs and how to communicate with a director. Students will help with Costume design for the teen conservatory play. Props Design: w/Kris Heller Learn how to work with a variety of mediums to create the prop look you are going for. Think outside of the box on what would look good close up or from a distance. Look at coloring with costumes, set and light collaboration and help build the Props for the Teen conservatory show.
