Technology plays a part in almost all of our personal and professional lives. Whether it’s the newest AI breakthrough, or self-driving cars, the ever-evolving landscape of tech can be a daunting one to navigate, especially in the classroom. But why do we integrate technology in the first place? Our goal for this tech pro-d session is to empower students and teachers with the skills required to work creatively with emerging technologies like AI, without losing sight of the core learning mindsets we want to develop. We will be discussing the role of technology in the classroom, developing skills required in working with them, and getting hands-on with engineering design projects of your own. Come explore frameworks and tools to make technology work for you and your students - not the other way around. Designed for grades 7-10.
