Teachers: Ms. Perez This class is designed to introduce your student to the creative world of fiber arts! Best suited for beginners, this class will teach your child the fundamentals of the art of knitting, including how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, cast off, and read basic knitting patterns. Students will leave this class with their own knitted projects such as bookmarks, coasters, and scarves. As they gradually learn to read knitting patterns, your student will have the ability to take what they've learned in class and make their own projects at home. Knitting encourages patience, concentration, and mindfulness all while providing a therapeutic experience. Join our knitting circle today!
