Come enjoy an evening out under the Stars with Pierce County Parks! Bring your picnic blanket, maybe an actual blanket, a pair of binoculars (if you have them!), and a list of wishes as we check-out the early evening Perseid meteor shower along with the summer constellations that light up our night sky. Staff will be there along with you to help guide your sky exploration, show you how to setup and use a telescope, take you for a guided night hike, show you how to take some AMAZING photos of the night sky, along with plenty more still in the works! This event will have you out in the park at night so headlamps, flashlights, and good shoes to be walking around a park in are all great ideas! We will also have warm beverages and light snacks to help keep the energy up into the evening. We hope you'll come out and join us for this unique program with Pierce County Parks!
